Spectacular from every angle this rare mid-century Italian lamp, dating c. 1960s/70. Base featuring a fairy with wings is porcelain and glazed in off-white with peachy-pink detailing. The lotus flower lampshade, a most delicate pinkish tone; handmade using silk chiffon. Stamped Made in Italy and approximately 60cms tall. This could make for a striking feature piece for a whimsical little girls bedroom or a unique table lamp in the living space. 
It is in working condition, however it’s always prudent to have vintage lighting tested prior to use.
