Easy to grow with a subtle mild onion flavour. These long, thin chives are excellent in many meals and are great raw or cooked. It produces lavender coloured flower heads that are a real chef’s treasure.
Note: Seeds are sourced locally and in small batches to ensure they remain at their maximum viability for germination. Seeds viable for 5+ years when stored correctly in a cool, dry, dark place.

Soil: Work a fertile, friable soil, mixed through with compost and organic matter. Herbs are hardy perennials that will survive in most soil types.

How to Plant: Sow directly, they also transplant well so purchasing as seedling and then transplanting to your patch works well too
